How can I calculate the vertical velocity at the end of an objects time interval with Net Force, Mass, Time and Angle given. The question is worded: A net force of 17.0N is applied to a 0.34-kg soccer ball for 0.090s causing it to move off at 28 degrees above the horizontal. Determine the vertical velocity of the soccer ball at the end of the 0.090-s time interval.

Any help is much appreciated!!

F=m*a
Let's look at the vertical forces:
17*sin(28)-0.34*9.81=0.34*ay
solve for ay
ay=13.66 m/s^2
this is only applicable while the 17 N force acts on the ball
vy=ay*t
vy=13.66*0.09
vy=1.23 m/s
