It would typically take more than a week to "get over" being raped. In most cases, professional help would be needed.
Chances are you've (assuming we're talking about you) buried your pain deep down, but eventually it will come out and probably be directed at things and people unrelated to the event.
You should:
1. report it to the police if you haven't already
2. see a doctor (to make sure you aren't pregnant or have an STD)
3. start seeing a psychotherapist who specializes in rape.
Good luck.
Trust me, doing nothing will come back to haunt you and any partners you have.

Reporting the rape and confronting the whole issue--if not the rapist--can be more difficult than having to "live" with the rape and do nothing. BUT, the trauma works its way out, one way or another and MUST be dealt with to bring about a maximum of health eventually!! Trying to "just deal with it" often brings isolation, depression, and even suicide. Being attacked in any manner is a trauma--and trauma must be dealt with or it destroys the quality of life!

not really, but if he/she/ person you talk about does it its like saying, if you have the flu like saying, nah i don't have it, i justgo outside and run naked, don't take this wrong, just an example to explain it. If this has happened to you, you should go to a mental professional IMMEDIATELY! and talk about it, if you or that particular person you talk about doesn't seek help and keep hiding their emotions, it would soon hunt him, deal with this, and hang on, i think at this point if this happened to you, you could feel awful, but pls go to a therapists or counselour and talk about it, really.

Non consensual criminal rape is a violent assault on your mind. You will not feel the same for several months afterwards.
