You should look into and consider getting a NYKO Wii Remote Charging system!

Every Wii owner should get one!

It'll solve your problems of using batteries at all!

Remember rechargable batteries also don't last forever!

My energizer rechargable batteries died some time ago; and now I'm glad I got a NYKO Wii Remote Charging system!

All you do is sit your Wii Remotes in the charger, and they charge, (be sure to remove the wrist strap so it doesn't get in the way).

Blue light means its charging, green light says its done charging.

Simple as that! :D

Yes, the Wii remote needs two AA batteries.

The wimote does need 2 AA batteries. I suggest getting rechargeable batteries. :)
