Lots of big names were just dropped in the Mitchell report. Future hall of famers, MVP's, all-stars, etc., but do the fans of the sport really care that these athletes are on steroids or will they continue to go in record numbers to the games?

I don't believe they do. and if they do it is a new found concern sense Bonds started getting close to the record. Nobody cared including the comissoner when it was Mcgwire and Sosa were knocking the ball all over the place. Because it was "good for the game" So no matter how much crap big mark was pumping into his arms and chest nobody gave a damn. Sosa looks like an anorexic version of himsself, but nobody seemed to care as long as it brought fans back to the game. Baseball fans are the hypocritical fans on the face of the earth. If they really wanted the game clean they wouldn't go to games to watch these pumped up individuals play a sport!

I do, they are breaking records of people like Aaron & Ruth who probably legitamately earned those records. Im not only talking about the home run record but any record, im just using the home run record as an example. Plus its unhealthy & young people are following after them.

Well they care enough to jam up Yahoo answers here for about 10 minutes while the report was just coming out.

I couldn't get answers to go thru for about that long.

I think people care who is on the list, but most people will still watch the games and pay high prices to attend and support their team.

You bet I care and so should anyone who actually believes in the good sportsmanship of any game. I have two young sons who both think they will be major league pitchers.. and who is their hero? Roger Clemens.. this makes me sick.. now I have to explain to them that he has broken the law.

What is with these public figures.. they want lots of money, lots of fame, special consideration.. and yet they still cheat. I am disgusted.. you bet!

They care, but they don't care enough to stop following the sport.
