Everyone, or at least, most everyone does at some time in their life.
Kids are most often people who do this, as are lovers. A parent, a friend, someone special or just sometimes, someone who exists in your dreams.
I have, and I think I always do anytime life puts me someplace, sometime alone for the holidays.
Well, alone from anyone I have a genuine and meaningful connection with anyway.
Parties are another story. Those are easy and everywhere.
But sometimes, you do want a holiday to be something different for a change. Something memorable.

Yes, back when I was 7, I asked my Mommy I wanted Ricky Martin (Menudo days) for Christmas! Haha =)

Yes. I was very young, and asked the Fat Santa for a little sister.
When my Ma asked me afterwards what I had asked for, of course I told her...she got a little quiet as I recall.
I do remember we looked back to wave goodbye to Santa, and he had both hands up, but he wasn't really waving. It was more a shrug.
It took until the next year, but I got a sister.
