Alexander has gotten double-digit fantasy points (standard ESPN scoring system) once since week 3. As Hank Hill would say, that boy ain't right. He's listed as probable with a bad wrist. And, there's been some talk that Shaun should just shut it down until the playoffs and let Maurice Morris carry the load. Besides, even if Alexander does play, Morris gets all the goal line glory.
With Ron Dayne likely out with an ankle injury, Darius Walker should get lots of touches against Denver's #29 rushing defense.
Alexander has proven he's ineffective. Walker hasn't proven that he's effective yet. But, I would take the unknown over the known (bad) and go with Walker.
