What the hell does gender have to do with anything?

Anyways, you are right. some players are being thrown to the wolves, its not fair. bonds has been crapped on so much through the years, while until now Clemens was barely investigated.

Women are already allowed to form any professional teams or leagues they want. The problem is making them profitable. They all go bankrupt because only family and significant others will pay to watch them.
With baseball especially, you have to come early, or you might miss the "Run". They can't give tickets away. The sad reality is, that if they're not wearing skirts (golf) or groaning (tennis), nobody cares.

Women cheat too. Marion Jones just lost everything because of it. Barry Bonds wasn't the best team mate. He pretty much kept his distance from Giants players off the field. Since the union is made up of all players, He is easily given up as the scapegoat to lessen the backlash to the union.

Baseball's little secret has a major motion picture and it's own wing in the baseball Hall of Fame. The major motion picture starred Tom Hanks, Madonna, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Bill Pullman, Rosie O'Donnell, John Lovitz, and Gary Marshall. I know that isn't a star filled cast or anything (sarcasm).
