this application has to be post-mrked by Dec. 15 this saturday, if i send it tommorrow friday night will it be postmarked for saturday
just want to make sure

If you drop it off at the post office tomorrow night, the postmark will be for Saturday. Bring the letter inside the post office to drop it off so it doesn't get left in a mail bin over the weekend.

Take it to the counter at your local post office and ask them to hand cancel the letter. That will postmark it right then.

Check with the postman for the last time for posting for Dec. 15.

Just make sure that whereever you mail it, the box is cleared again before Monday. Usually the mail box has a sign that tells when it is emptied. I would try to mail it from inside the post office to make sure.
