We use fake eggs for easter egg hunts and for the kids easter baskets but we also dye some real eggs. Hard boiled eggs are a big hit in our house.

I use real hard boiled eggs to dye them. They are the most fun and take color the best. If you don't have enough time to boil the eggs you coulde use fake pre colored eggs!
