Write it all down then go through it bit by bit and it makes everything a lot clearer. It works for me every time. :-)

It depends on what you are worrying about
If its someone like an ill family member or friend just be with them as much as you can and you wont feel guilty or anything like that. If its a friend who is doing wrong you need to let them know or someone who has the power to stop them know, before its too late. If its a friend in trouble or a family member in trouble just help them out a little, do the best you can, or if you are unable to be there think about the things that can go RIGHT not wrong. This may be hard but try.
Now on the other hand, if you are worrying about a something, such as a lost item or something, try all the local lost properties, ask around, re-trace steps and get help with friends and family. If its a lost pet put up lost posters and ask around, whatever it takes to get your litle friend back, be ruthless. If its an ill pet, just be with them and comfort them, i have lost several pets over the years and although sad, you will get over it, life goes on. Never let anyone hurt them or do anything bad, and dont do anythin you will regret if they do die, just be with them.
Hope i helped and try not to worry to much, be positive and think of the good things, this will be hard, theres no may about it. If it helps write the things down and clear them 1 by 1.
Best of luck and try to have a good Christmas
Christian :)

I think the most important thing is to find someone you trust enough to talk to. Getting it out in the open helps to put it into some sort of perspective. (Things can get blown out of proportion if we worry and keep things to ourselves. I know as I'm a born worrier myself.) As someone else here has said, putting it down on paper can help, especially last thing at night. Thoughts aren't churning around in your mind, keeping you awake then - hopefully. Internet forums are a good source of support. I belong to one and I find it helps just to 'hammer out' all my worries - the same principle as writing things down. I've done a quick google search and found a few websites which I hope will help you cope with the worrying itself. All the best - I hope you get things sorted and have a good Christmas.

If I am worried about something, money, health, safety, I envision the very worst thing that can happen. When I do that I usually realize it is something I could handle if I had to. If I am worried about someone, I first ask if their problem is something I can help them with or is it something that person has to do for themselves. For instance, if the person is drinking, they have to decide for themselves to stop. I can offer some support in some ways, but I can't really make them stop.
