They won't draw blood for a UTI unless they honestly believe it's something else. When I go I just pee in a cup and get a prescription for an antibiotic. Good luck and God bless!

Hi Sweetie,
The Dr. may look inside r uterous & know the ans. & how do U know it's an UTI? Cud it, r have u had a Yeast Infection bfore? It's with discharge on r panties, color white r brownish. Jus a thot. As 4 getting a needle, turn away from wat he's/she is doing, take deep breathes & picture something pleasant r wat u wanna get so & so 4 Christmas? Don't even think of the moment, let r mind wonder 2 a serious item u'd like 2 give ? & bfore u know it it''s done OK? Try not to tense up, jus makes it worse. Luv a needle isn't going 2 hurt u, r think of the lil children that get 1, some r so brave they don't even cry cause the Mother keeps their face & mind away from the the inevitable. Besides U may not get 1!!! HeHe, Yah & Hallaluya. Good-Luck & I Hope the Best 4 U "Merry Chrismas Luv"

If it's just for a UTI, then they do not draw blood. You will go in and pee in a cup, they will do a "urine dip" possibly look at it under the microscope, then give you an antibiotic. No biggie.

if a UTI is all you are going in for, there really is no need to draw blood. It is likely all they will do is collect a specimen and give you a prescription.
