It's a supply and demand thing - your milk will come back full-force once your baby starts eating again. When the demand increases the supply will increase as well - nothing to worry about.

In the future if you have to stop breastfeeding for a while make sure that you still express milk from yourself so that you don't "dry up" too quickly.

And drink lots of water.

Good luck!

Put the baby back on the breast...and let him/her nurse, your milk will come back in. The more you nurse the more milk you will produce. Always drink something while you nurse. I always drank an iced tea while nursing. Also my midwife told me to drink a beer a day, because the yeast in the beer will help make milk. It will not hurt the baby. Make sure you keep yourself hydrated....drink alot water, iced tea, etc.

talk to your doctor.

if milk come out just drink water and have your baby latch on for sometime. or pump to stimulate milk to come back
but remember to drink a lot of water.
next time before you take medication you should talk to your doctor if ok to breast feeding while taking that medication.
if you try to eat a lot of fruits and veggie for bowel movement.

How long did you stop breastfeeding?
How were you feeding the baby when you weren't breastfeeding? (bottle, cup, syringe spoon)
Does the baby still latch at all?

WHY did you stop because you were taking laxatives? There are SAFE laxatives for use during lactation:
