walking is a motor skill it has nothing to do with his IQ. That's pretty amazing though.

Haha, isn't it funny to see a baby walking?! My son too walked right at 7 1/2 months. He was crawling at 4 months. It blew us all away! The same little guy is about to be 4 years old and he is right on track with where he needs to be. Of course, in our eyes, he's a little genius, too.
It just means that he's a strong baby with GREAT motor skills! Oh, and that mommy is really going to have her hands full with this one!!

That's great he started walking early! Just means there is more for him to get into.. and more running around for you.
My son is 9 months, and crawls. I'm glad my son isn't walking yet. Im not ready for him to walk!
Just because he started to walk early doesn't make him a genius. (sorry, but it doesn't)
Sometimes those early walkers will be slow to develop in verbal communication. Sometimes the kids that dont walk till later will be early talkers. Each kid develops at their own level.

Walking doesn't necessarily indicate the overall intelligence of a child. My older daughter walked at 8 months, but didn't talk until 13 months...she does happen to be brilliant. My younger daughter talked at 5 months and was using full sentences by 8 months ( which is kind of creepy, actually)...but did not walk until she was over a year old...she is so smart it scares me. They are 12 and 13 years old now and both at the top of their classes.

I'm in high school, i started walking when I was 9 months old. My brother is also in high school and started walking when he was about a year old. My grades and my interest in school are higher than my brother's but I dont believe that the age we started walking had anything to do with it.

night terrors often ensue around 8-3 hundred and sixty 5 days and is due on your daughters larger understanding of separation rigidity even though it extremely is popular to strengthen this formerly, as on your infant's case. those mysterious disturbances take place for the period of deep, non-dreaming sleep. Your daughter will cry, whimper, flail, or perhaps attempt to flee her crib. however her eyes would be huge open, she's no longer conscious and is no longer conscious of your presence. as quickly as the night terror (that may final everywhere from a couple of minutes to a million/2 an hour or extra) is over, your baby will return to a valid sleep and haven't any reminiscence of the incident in the morning. Your first instinct would be to convenience her, yet your efforts will maximum possibly be futile (undergo in concepts, she's no longer possibly conscious and she or he's no longer conscious of your presence). you in simple terms would desire to attend it out and verify she would not harm herself. do no longer talk to her or attempt to assuage her, and don't attempt to shake or startle her conscious or bodily restrain her. this would bring about extra frantic habit. In 15 to twenty minutes, your daughter would desire to cool down, curl up, and fall right into a deep sleep lower back. There are a number of steps you are able to take to decrease the possibilities that your daughter would have night terrors. First, verify that she's getting sufficient sleep, considering that babies who flow to mattress overtired are extra possibly to journey those sleep disturbances. to stay clear of fatigue, boost your daughter's nap time, enable her sleep a splash later in the morning, or placed her to mattress formerly at night. And confirm to time table a good number of time for calming bedtime rituals, which incorporate a tub, a music, a e book, and a good number of cuddling. you besides would would desire to objective gently rousing your infant after she's been asleep for an hour or 2 approximately quarter-hour earlier the common episode could initiate. this would desire to regulate her sleep trend sufficient to flow off the night terror on the bypass.

It has nothing to do with IQ. There have been geniuses who seemed to be very behind... I know a boy that started walking at 7 and half months and he is definitely not smarter than other kids.

my son started walking at 8 months, but is just the same as his peers verbally, but there are a couple who walked (13-15 months) later that are better talkers.

My niece isn't in grade school yet, but she started walking around that age. She did learn to talk faster.

Walking faster doesn't always mean a good thing...
you should let them crawl as long as they want..
Since crawling form their Spinal Cord better...
So they stand up straight and not in a slump..
