Over 50 players tied into steroids report including some of MLB's elite: Roger Clemens, Andy Pettite, Miguel Tejada, Denny Neagle, Paul Lo Duca, David Justice, Barry Bonds, Todd Hunley, Jason Giambi, Mo Vaughn, Gary Sheffield, Lenny Dykstra and more! Senator George Mitchell led this two year investigation and is involved with Red Sox management. Many of the names are current Yankees or American league players. Problem here or is he just doing his job?

Several players in the report have a connection to the Red Sox. When detailing Mo Vaughn, the report recounts an incident where a bunch of needles fell out of a towel Vaughn was carrying in the locker room and several players laughed about it. Even if those players weren't doing steroids, they were aware of it. And two members of the 2007 team are listed in the report (Gagne & Donnelly).

Mitchell appears to have kept his involvement with the Red Sox from influencing his findings.

I guess that he is lying about not being impartial and not targeting any of the Red Sox. What about Manny Ramirez or that "Big" dude..... I'm sure there are other "broken down" players on that team that were tempted to use steroids to lessen the recovery time on injuries.....

If it was sanctioned by MLB, I'll believe that report, but coming from an independent source is kind of fishy, just like the Barry Bonds trial.

Senator Mitchell stepped down from the Red Sox board while he was conducting the inquiry over the last year or so. He did utilize emails from Theo Epstein that implicate Donnelly and Gagne and call Epstein's wisdom in acquiring those two into question. Lots of teams had few people on the list. Most of the people were customers of Radomski or McNamee. And paid by check. What person pays his dealer by check?
