I am 36 yrs old. I have been married 13+ yrs. happily. This last year or so I started having dreams about people (girls) I knew when I was a kid. Not old flames mind you but just girls i knew in school and never dated. They are sexual in nature but before anything really happens I sorta blow it in the dream. Then I wake up wondering where the hell did that come from?
Then for the next few days I'm thinking about that person (not sexually) but just where are they, I hope they are doing well, that sorta thing.
Any ideas?

Ever heard of a little demon called the mid-life crisis? It sounds like you might be getting into the start of it. It could be that you are looking back and wondering "What if". What if I'd made different choices, done differently, been someone else, where would my life be today? There's no harm in that, as long as dreams are as far as it goes.
Or it could just be that you're a little horny, and those people who meant nothing to you, and so are a safe outlet? Just as long as they and you are both adults or kids in your dream, and your not dreaming of making it with kids as an adult. That would be a worry.
If you want to stay safe in your happy marriage, don't do anything stupid.

Hi, I think this is common. I'm also around the same age & have been doing that too.

I think its what we do, once we get passed all the aganst of our highschool days or something.

As well, sometimes people we knew in our past, can remind us of ppl we currently know. So think about the ppl whom you are dreaming about--do you have any inclination about who they may be in your present life?

For instance, maybe this person in your neighborhood is driving you crazy by being condensending and then you dream about the old crankpot you knew in highschool.

That example anyway.

Your hard drive is corrupted!! This happens to me occasionally. I think that the human brian is incredible. I also think maybe some little thing sparks your memory about someone, maybe a song, someones clothes, a car, a name being called out. Your mind then picks up on this and while you are asleep downloads the memories for review, it will also change them to meet your sexual desires.

This is normal. Enjoy them when they happen, but do not lose "sleep" over them! No pun intended.

Things like this happen to everyone...I think its your subconscious wondering what happened to those people from school. Maybe your subconscious is yearning for your youth so it reminds you of the past
