when i studied romeo and juliet, a teacher told me they were entering the age of consciousness. What does it mean?

it is the age at which you become aware of the difference between right and wrong. Depending on your religion, that is somewhere between ages 5 and 9.

If you are Catholic, that is the age when you have your first communion.

I think it depends on each person because there are kids in my high school who I SWEAR are still 4 year olds...
