"The real treasures are not in luxurious mansions, they can be found in ruined places."

I want to use it in an essay but it needs to be well phrased first

the concept you have relayed to me is not a foreign one. But first clarify. treasures CAN be found in luxurious mansions, as you must know. You could be speaking of immaterial treasures, like love, and friendship. Thus, I would put it:

The best treasures that can be discovered are not always in luxurious mansions, full of priceless jewels and finery. They can be found in ruined (here, do you mean "places" as in houses? Or people? ) vessels as well, with the mother caring for her child with unconditional love.

Not a very good answer, but what do you expect? I'm only a freshman in high school. Good luck, though.

Obviously it's metaphorical or analogous. I wonder however what you might define as "treasures" ? Obviously answer 3 states those intangibles. I also wonder your notion of or definition of "Ruined places"?

Certainly Wealth and Beauty can be described in numerous ways, AND can likely be discerened variously, depending on ones goal, agenda, etc.

I think you may want to re-think your wording, but certainly I wouldn't advise changing the concept or context.

What does that even mean? I'm not even sure what you're trying to say there. You've already put in perfectly "literate and professional English" it's just in need of elaboration

Don't be deceived by appearance, real treasure is hidden inside no matter how it looks
