Best wishes to you and your family in this Christmas Season, and a very happy new year.

That's what i write in my Ex's mum's christmas card :)

Cheers

If you send a card, dont make it anything lavish. He will be thinking if he sees the card that you are just trying to use some leverage to get him back in your life. You probably just want to extend some holiday greetings to her, and if I were you, the card would simply express how you enjoyed the time with her, and just wish her a good holiday.

In a way, it gives closure to you, in expressing how special she was at that time (3 years of time) and you can say that you wish her all the best life affords and Merry Christmas. That way, if he sees it, there is no lead in for her to reach you and continue the relationship behind his back....but you will have had your say and your closure.

From a mom's perspective, its been important to me to have had some communication with the young people that have come thru my life, when my kids no longer live at home, or break up with ex-es. Its not a continuation of those relationships, just letting them know (at some point) that they were special to me!

That may be worth something to them in later years

Just write Merry Christmas, and thinking of you during this time of year.

Keep it simple, but try to stay away from being too emotional. She may put all of her cards up somewhere, and you don't want to have your ex get angry at his mom during this time of year.

Just say wishing you and your family a happy holiday. Or you could say May the Lord be with you through the holiday and always. Or just merry Christmas and hope to see you soon.
