Nah. August 12, 1994 sucked worse, and that's just one of several candidates.

No! The Congress Hearings in March of 2005 is by far the worst. I was home sick that day from school and what McGwire and Palmeiro were saying was complete bull. I honestly think that The Mitchell "Report" will be an embarassing day though.

Oh, now, don't get carried away! No. It's not even in the top 10 worst days. It'll all blow over, MLB will find a way to make revenue, players will continue to use and not use and act like Holy Joes either way, the fans will continue to watch and spend and have fun gossiping about this report and Paris Hilton, and life won't change a lick.

Black Sox were worse when they threw the World Series for gambling mafia. Shoeless Joe got banned from baseball even though he had an amazing series. Watch the movie 8 men out.

Oh... and I consider the day Barry broke Hank's streak to be worse than this...

No, the strike of 94 was far worse.

It took a long time for fans to come back.

With the steroid thing going on, attendance was a record high this year,.

tough call, but I would say the strike was worse. Id rather watch juiced ball than no ball. I do not condone this behavior though.
