hears a message for fat people, spend a little less money on your burgers and give the money you would have spent to charity, your more healthy and they can live then. but no, you decide to be fat bastards and prevent starving children from getting the food they need.

I say a little from column A, a little from column B. Everyone breaks at a certain point but the stress just keeps piling on.

What if society did make them lazy? I mean jobs are becoming increasingly sedentary, more stressful and requiring longer hours. This causes greater reliance on fast food, fewer hours after work in which to be active and reduced inclination for further activity (I've already worked 11 hours today, do i want to go to a gym to work some more?).

Then your friends start working longer hours and you can't get together then everyone just stays home all the time and eats donuts to make up for their increasingly lonely and depressing life.

This sort of thing just makes it harder and harder to remain physically fit.

I've seen people's weight fluctuate after a new job or major upheaval in their lives. Did they suddenly become lazy after this event or did this event just push them beyond their ability to maintain their health?

Would you commit infinite effort to stay trim? I think with the right circumstances you'd break too.

agh! when will people learn it's people's fault they're obese? man/humankind has the ability to choose what they do. they can either abstain from eating that extra piece of food or commit the sin of gluttony. furthermore, they go from gluttony to the sin of sloth, they could easily just get up and exercise.
I'm not tryin' to preach to you, I'm just tellin' it like it is.

I think both are at fault. I guess people are used to getting instant gratification and people get lazy.
