A person's boudoir ideas are a private matter and so it's difficult to discuss it with a counselor. However talking with a counselor about other things that concerns a husband like what a husband's duties are, about his respecting his wife and her wishes, about not going behind her back, about being satisfied with enjoying life with his wife, etc. may be something he needs to know but only if this comes to the point where you can't accept it anymore and he has worn you down. If you go to a counselor that counselor may bring out both sides and not only will you have the problem of solving this problem but the problems will add up and get worse. So see if you can merely ignore his requests for a threesome. Maybe even laugh it off if you can. Tell him you thought you were enough for him. Sometimes the idea of a threesome is just an age thing and they outgrow it.

Make it clear to him that it will never happen.

Though this is something my wife and I partake-in fairly often, it is not for everyone. In fact, there are very few of us that are able to handle it without screwing up our marriages. For anyone to do it, BOTH spouses must be into it, not just one. If you do it just for him, you are in for some rocky times.
