No because they will just say that the corporations where being greedy by leaving. Didn't you know in their minds corporations to not exist to make profits but instead to be the evil that they campaign against?

They won't care until the consequences of their actions come to light. Then it'll be a whine heard across the globe about how the uncaring corporations left the good ol' USA. The Democrats say they'll "tax the rich" I wonder why more Democrat voters don't realize that their party has more
"rich" in it than the Republican party does. I highly doubt that any of them will enact a tax hike for themselves without an offsetting pay increase.

Part of me wonders if that is in their plan. If major companies leave, there would be a lot more people who depend on the social programs, and if the democrats keep promising these programs, they will continue to get voted in . . . in the long run they still come out on top.
These same democrats are also the first to complain about Walmarts forcing Mom & Pop shops to close, tainted toys made in China, the cost of gas (or the amount of gas being used) etc.
**the big business that do not leave will end up raising their prices to compensate for the taxes being paid - in the end, hurting the very people that they claim to be helping.

No, they wouldn't care, Their rhetoric would not even need to change. Who ever wound up on top of the economic food chain would simply become the new evil rich. No problem for them; they would still have someone to blame for all the problems they helped create. Ever seen a poor Dem politician? Nope. They are the same as "evil" Republicans. Except slightly more hypocritical. Pander to the poor while helping keep them dependent on "free" government programs.

To be perfectly truthful, a lot of American Corporations have already left or outsourced jobs to other countries. Most of the items you buy are foreign made. As to them leaving, others will fill the void they create ,maybe by loyal true Americans that really care about their country!

Democrats, like Republicans, care nothing for anything but their power base.
Yes, the wealthy and major coporations will leave, taking their business, wealth, and jobs elsewhere. And no, the Democrats don't care; not even the Republicans care about this.

Let them leave (the rich). If they think of going away rather than participating in supporting this great country of ours then let them go. They need to stand up and be fully taxed. Personally I would rather see a flat tax.

Do you hate this country so much that you think people will just leave if that have to pay their fair share of taxes, The rich already pay a much lower rate than those of us who work and make this country great. Why should people living on their parents and grand-parents money get off scott free while the rest of us pay. I say if they want to live in the United Arab Emirates let them go. I'm sick of self-hating Republicans!

They already have. Most corporations in America outsource jobs to other countries, leaving many Americans out of a job. They don't seem to contribute a whole to lot to America so who cares if they leave?

Investors could transfer their investments in countries with low taxes when the Democrats will impose higher taxes.
