im guessing that less than 100,000 or one in every 3000 Americans actually has a quad core? what do you think??? do you know anyone with quad core?

Not sure why you would like to know what percentage of Americans have it but im guessing probrably not alot of them would as its quite a recently released product. However the Quad core processer is going cheap at the moment and is a decent piece of kit.

Several of my family members have Quad cores. Percentage? Without looking it up, I'd say approximately 5-10% - Mostly gamers, movie editting software geeks or people using Cad programs.
The prices have come down significantly since they were first released, but Octcores are around the corner so I'm waiting to buy a Quad until they come out.
