My place is- or rather used to be- ant hill central before I found this recipe in another Answer.

In a small container, mix together:

1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Borax
3/4 cups water.

Stir until the solids are dissolved, then dip pieces of bread crust in it and place where you see the ants.

The ants will swarm all over the baits and carry bits of it back to their nests.. Within a couple of days, you should have very few if any ants left.

Good luck!

The borax and sugar recipe is the best. If you do not know where they are coming from, try looking at the electricity inlets. Sometimes they are like first class tunnels to them.

You could use boric acid. Boric acid is poisonous to ants acting on their exoskeleton and is not harmful to human beings.
