Mass of lawn tractor = m =120 kg

Acceleration due to gravity = g

Slant height = s =12 m

Incline angle =O =21 degree

vertical height = h = s* sin O =12*sin21

vertical height = h =4.3004 m

time = t =2.5 s

Work done =w = change in potential energy = mgh

Power =P =w/t

Power =P =mgh =120*9.8*4.3004/2.5

Power =P =2022.9 W

The power developed by the tractor is 2022.9 W

No friction, so all we care about is the change in height.

h = ( 12 m ) ( sin 21 degrees )

The work done is

W = mgh

The power is that work divided by elapsed time

P = W / t
