table salt is basically sodium chloride (NaCl), but a common thing to do is put NaI or KI into it so that people get an intake of iodine (and don't get goitre). There is also lots of other trace elements, and these are higher in sea salt. Lo-Salt is KCl, or has a high pottasium content, the saltyness comes from the Chloride ion, but the taste does differ.
