Ok, you are the only one that can decide this, but...
You should never settle for second best in any aspect of life. Sex can be a great thing, but if with the wrong person it can be awkward and majorly disappointing, especially the first time. You should not plan to have sex. Wait until you are in love with someone enough to where you want to share that intimate part of you. You have have sex with anyone, but you can only make love with someone you truly care about. Sex the first time is not all its cracked up to be, and can be disappointing if you are with someone who you are trying to impress, as opposed to being with someone you care for and cares for you enough to look pass the awkwardeness involved. Be safe!

I've always felt like virginity is something really important that not just anyone deserves. I would never give it to someone who was not special to me.
I feel like people are so ashamed to be virgins at even 18 that they'll do whatever to get rid of that, but it's a good thing. It just means you're being responsible and looking out for yourself.
Plus, why put yourself in unnecessary danger of STIs?

There will be plenty of time for romance and sweetness. No matter what you expect, your first time will not be like that. I believe you should start as soon as you feel comfortable. Honor your sexuality not your virginity. And despite what they tell you, waiting is not necessarily the way they did in in the "old days."

I know that I want to wait until I'm in love with someone to give them my virginity. Still, it seems to be taking a long time to find that special someone. I guess I'm in the same predicament. I think you should wait..

hmm..well you may consider me a virgin still but I don't really think of myself that way but here's my view. I've only had 1 bf and I totally love him and I could not imagine being so intimate with another person unless you love each other and I am so glad we are together. :)
Believe me it is soo beautiful to give pleasure and to have pleasure with someone you really love.. :)

Yes, I think people should wait to have sex with someone they love. And it is true that most people don't. Its just my opinion. I won't try to force it on anyone else.

i don't see virginity as so sacred. through relationships and having sex you learn a lot. you don't want to end up married to someone who doesn't please you sexually. i will say though that you should only have sex when both parties consent and understand the possible consequences. you should never have sex with someone just for personal pleasure. it should be respectful.

i thought it was lose your virginity not give your virginity. anyways its up to the person on whether they want to lose it or not. The majority of my friends lost theirs to people they werent necesarily in LOVE with. Perhaps its because sexual urges come before a person is mature enough to feel true love.
