"Sh*t on a Shingle" ? Poor peoples food! I think they served it alot in the military. I had 6 brothers, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Special Forces, they all ate it!!! Do you remember it??

Oh yes all my uncles were Navy men...ground beef in a gravy like sauce on bread I believe...gross to me! LOL!

yes it can be made with dried beef or with hamburger it's quite good.
