Does anyone have fears, suspicions, doubts about NHL players on the 'juice'? Would NOW be a good time for the league and NHLPA to look seriously at this issue and stem it BEFORE it becomes a matter for CONGRESS? OR - should we as fans/players/etc contact our lawmakers and tell them to get back to the business of RUNNING the country and let us decide how the ENTERTAINMENT should be handled? Just put out your thoughts on the tie between all major sports and let me know what your thoughts are... Thanks!

Andrew V. - Clemens was thrown under the bus with the rest of them... Every team has a 'guy' - at least. AND - yes - this is a legal matter, to a point - but - baseball has sullied its reputation more than once through the years and I've grown tired of supporting a congress and senate who seem to have nothing better to do than simply call a spade a spade and send the guilty to jail - it's a 'behind the bar sport anymore and I don't want to see hockey hurt any more than we've already been. If it’s a problem - it needs to be handled IN HOUSE.

20 million that Bud Selig spent on the report-the verdict- LET'S MOVE ON AND GET PAST THIS. Nice.
My only thoughts are that I am shocked, I would have bet anything that Andruw Jones name would have made the list, his noggin got huge and all of the sudden he can't catch up to a fastball.
IMO, hockey does not have a steroid problem. I am sure a few gym rats and enforcers dabbled with them over the years, no different that common society. In baseball, it was different, they were all doing them.

Don't go into politics here- because you'd be wrong. Steroid use without a prescription is illegal- it's not a matter of the sports and entertainment, it's the controlled substances act.
Baseball has pretty much encouraged it for the longest time, and they still don't have a very good testing policy. The NHL is very different in terms of the culture, I don't think we have a huge problem. There are a few, but not a ton.

There might be a handful of players that use it but I doubt that it is of any consequence to the NHL. That sort of physique isn't beneficial to or ideal for a hockey player.
I wish baseball would do something about its image in a positive way. As much as people want to get rid of Gary Bettman - I want twice as much for Bud Selig to be deposed.

Tie Domi and Sean Avery are the clearest candidates. Which may be the only time the word "clear" is used in connection with them, in any way! Not to mention Bob Probert: If he abused DRUGS drugs, why not the prescription kind?

What hath we wrought?
When all is said and done what did this gain anyone? Why did they even bother?
While the attention is focused on this silliness there are still millions with AIDS in Africa, the world's richest country still doesn't have a health care system it can be proud of, more than half the world lives in poverty and global warming is still being ignored.
I really don't give a rat's **** about this and I certainly hope that the NHL or IIHF doesn't feel the need to bare it's soul in the near future as a result of this kangaroo court.
How about some real news? And how about some real government action? Let's leave the circus' to Barnum and Bailey.

I just want to state that this whole Mitchell report was a complete waste of tax payer money. I find it funny that the dude incharge of the investigation is part of the Red Sox organization and from what I have seen no big named sox have been named.
In all honesty, there is not enough interest in the NHL in the US for it to become a congressional matter.

Having just skimmed over the report
- I find it funny how few players actually used them
- I find it funnier how even fewer people actually talked to Mitchell
Radomski and McNamee probably made a fortune off the information they sold, and will receive very few if any penalties for it.
It's a crock!
