iPod help?????????

when i plugged my iPod into my computer i get this message

Attempting to copy to the disk "iPod name" failed.An unknown error occured(-69)

anybody know what is happening and how to fix it

My best bet go to www.apple.com
call customer service and or go online via apple side and ask for a technical rep. Good luck..
