No. A lot of people in my family are college educated. On both sides.

No, my brother who is 2 years older was the first. Being a girl I was not allowed to go because I was just going to get married and have kids! What a stupid philosophy. Anyway I put myself through later and you can bet that my daughters, as well as my sons have their college educations......some with higher degrees.

No, but my wife has been the only one from her family to even finish high school, let alone finish college (she did both).

nobody in my family went to college, my cousin became first one to graduate high school in my family this past year
