Jeff IS a southerner. He is from Georgia, outside of Atlanta!
And not all rednecks are from the south! I am from PA and most ppl in my town are the stereotypical "redneck!"
He also prides himself on being a redneck. Most of his jokes are stories about his own family and friends.
I think that his jokes are acceptable because so many people can relate with them! My family does so many of the things that he jokes about (like having a full set of "dishes" that say Cool Wip on the side!)...and that is why we like him. We relate.
Also...so many rednecks are PROUD. When you are from a rural area...being a redneck is not always a negative thing. It is a way of life...and rednecks are proud to be called rednecks!

He's a real southerner. He just doesn't have a problem with making fun of himself because the only people who don't like to laugh about stupid things they do are insecure. I'm not saying your insecure but he's just a redneck doing what he loves, making people laugh, and making money at the same time. DREAM JOB right! lol Doing something you want to do and getting paid for it!

He really is from the South. Anyways, why are u so concerned with this, u asked another question like this. His redneck jokes are exactly that.. jokes. They're funny and not meant to be offensive but if u find them to be, just dont watch it =)

Yes he's a real southerner. My former boss went to Georgia Tech with him.
His "You might be a redneck" jokes are hysterical. And redneckin' ain't just a southern thang. We city-folk call it "ghetto". Same behavior, different nomenclature.

It doesn't matter if he's from the south. You don't have to be a southerner to be a redneck, or know rednecks.
It's just jokes, like how black comedians are allowed to tell jokes about black people, and Jewish comedians are allowed to tell jokes about Jewish people.
He's just trying to bring a little joy and laughter to the miserable world. If he bothers you, pretend he doesn't exhist.

"you are able to call us rednecks in case you opt for-we at the instant are not indignant, because of the fact all of us understand what we are all approximately. We arise and flow to artwork, we arise and flow to church, and we arise and flow to conflict while mandatory." -- Jeff Foxworthy

Yes he's from the south, GA I believe.
And it's acceptable because it shows he can laugh at himself.
And all the "rednecks" like it because they know what he says is true and they can laugh at themselves too.
