i am currently in a management degree program and was thiinking about switching to web design. what i wanna know is which would be the better option and why? which is the better career path and what will bring the best jobs? please be serious because this is important. thanks.

Try having one as the Major and one as the Minor. You'd get your foot in both doors.

I'll admit that I'm a little biased. I have a Management degree.

Web Design is a great thing for now, if you're any good you can make a nice bit of money. The thing is that the market may get flooded soon and maybe something will happen to shift the market down.
Also, if you're in web design you're going to have to keep studying for a long time. Technology is advancing very quickly and the things you learn in school will be partly obsolete by the time you graduate.

My personal opinion is that the market will be flooded with people qualified to do web design. Kids in grade school can do it now. Business will always need management at multiple levels. That is your best bet.
