It's getting down to the wire for holiday shipping, so you may want to buy local. Many shops that sell baseball cards also sell model car kits. Also if you have any shops that specialize in Nascar stuff, or high-end toy stores that cater to adults as well as kids, those would be good places to look. Call ahead before you go running all around town.

Micheals Craft store is a great place to look and most of the time in sundays paper you can get a 40% off coupon in their circular. also look and see if you have a hobby shop in the yellow pages. Wal-Mart might have a nice selection. Lately the talk has been if you have a BigLots around you , their kits are selling for $5 which is reall cool and you can get one of each they have there. (usaualy its only like 4 or 5 different ones)

Try Hobby Lobby,Meijers,Wal-mart, K-Mart ( in the toy section for those stores) they have a good selection of model cars Also check in the Magazine Selection they also have Scale model magazine for cars,ships,miltary,railroads...etc along with suppliers
