i am a teacher and i am only allowed to choose one student per month. every teacher follows different rules to choose, but i will tell you this...it is possible that the teacher wants to make sure that he/she makes sure many of the students receive awards. if your child is receiving academic awards, the teacher may be using the citizenship award for a child who may be well-behaved but might not be as academically talented as your child.
another reason might be that school has only been in session for 4 months. so, the teacher has only picked 4 different children. give it time. there are still 6 more chances before the end of the school year.
your child is doing just fine.

dont worrie its just something the teacher picks you child just needs your love and care take time to teach little thins no matter where you are. and rember if a child asks you a question the simplest answer is not always the best, it is better to explain and elaborate on the imfomation and if you do not have a anwser discus why and what you think this will teach you child how to explor live, take in new imformation, learn fast, learn comunication skills and how to push her self when she has a problem ahead more than any text book can teach them
rember she is smart show her how to apply her self
good look and you seem like you are in the right direction by being conserned.

I do not think you should stress yourself, and especially not your daughter about this.
Only one kid gets it a month, which means most are left out of it entirely.
Her teacher told her she can get it, so she might.
But I think it's a bad idea to have any such award, and think you care about it MUCH too much.
The point of being in school is to get an education, which it sounds like she's doing.
She likes to discuss what she's learning, which is a really good sign. Focus on the learning itself, and not the stupid "awards" stuff.
You don't want her to develop a negative attitude about school.

i think of kindergartners have the skill to check each and all the help that is had to write a paragraph. remember, they are extra advantageous than possibly six years previous via the tip of the 12 months. At this age, infants have large flair for researching. That being stated.... infants ought to have the skill to check at their very own p.c.. particularly than with the plenty. yet that's not a appropriate worldwide. except you could discover the money for to deliver your toddler to a Montessori college for their finished grade college profession, they are going to be envisioned to fulfill the conventional. Is the conventional to difficult? For some it fairly is, for many that is not. people who war ought to have the help of their father and mom besides because of the fact the faculty gadget. we can't blame the faculty gadget because of the fact little Janey would not understand a theory, yet her mom and or dad do not something to help her academically. father and mom must be in contact of their youngster's coaching from the very beginning up, coaching good study behavior and offering an ecosystem that fosters and helps researching.

It sounds to me like she is doing just fine. In kindergarten each child will get the awards at some point in the year. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

you're putting to much emphasis on the label of "student of the month". really, who cares if she gets the award? is it going to matter in the long run? she'll still be a good student. she's only in kindergarten for pete's sake.
