It'll be my first election as a new 18 year old.
I plan to vote for whoever is the Democratic candidate. Never will I be responsible for placing a Republican in office, even if they are moderate like Guliani, unless I know the Democrat won't win and I really like the Republican.
I agree with Hillary and Obama on health care, immigration, and gay rights, but even as gay American, I cannot let gay rights be my only reason for voting for a specific candidate. I have to vote for the person who most agrees with me on issues.
Also, I don't want to vote for a Republican because they will nominate a conservative Supreme Court justice. People complain about the current stance on gay marriage, but if you open that door for a 6-3 conservative run Supreme court (or potentially more conservative based on who retires next term), it won't matter if gay marriage is passed by Congress, or made legal by a Federal Court of Appeals. If that case EVER goes to the Supreme Court, I can guarantee that with a split like that it will be struck down and it will be illegal until a Constitutional amendment is passed, and only 27 have been passed in over 200 years.
As a voter, I must consider all possible repercussions, even those not directly related to the President.

I can't vote-- but I am my mother's vote hehe. She takes me to the poles and I just suggest who she should vote for...
I like Hillary's stance for civil unions that give the exact same benefits as a marriage does. At that point, legally, the two are the same thing. Obama's idea is a good idea-- but federal government has already stepped into offering benefits to married couples. It would be practically impossible to reverse that, and make it a 'state right'. You can leave gay marriage to the states, but federal government will still have a legal viewpoint on gay marriage, no matter what, due to 1,138 marriage laws and the defense of marriage act (DOMA).

i think each vote is significant. i'm uncertain how many of gay human beings fairly vote so i could not make an assessment on how they could rock the vote the two way. I in simple terms desire whilst they do vote, the vote responsibly.

Right now I I'm highly considering writing in Snoopy for President.
Of course I'm kidding, but looking at what I'm faced with a cartoon beagle is the best choice I have.
Although now that I know P-graph is running as a Favourite Son Candidate, I'll vote for him. There's a Face I can Trust.

Go, Rudy! I have liked Rudy for over 20 years now.
I also like Obama.
I will be torn if it is Obama vs. Rudy. I would most likely make my decison just like I do when I go out to eat--decide when the waiter comes over!

Although I'm not thrilled with any of the candidates, I'll most likely vote the Democratic ticket if for not other reason we need to get our economy back on track.

CLINTON
She may not be perfect, but she's the best out there right now. I support her whole-heartedly, simply because she's at a disadvantage with the Republicans hating her across the board. I mean, seriously, what has she done that deserves that kind of hatred?
GO HILLARY!
