they softballed that entire debate today , compaired to the republican

It is common knowledge that pbs is a liberal organization. To think otherwise is to have your head in the sand.

PBS has always told it like it is. If you are as old as I am you will remember only reading the good things Andrew Jackson did in the American History Books. George Washington was a Saint. Abraham Lincoln was the second coming. etc. Then PBS starts telling history as it truly was and I found that all of these people were mere mortals and made many mistakes. We all do much good in our lives and we all fail at times. We must have someone or something to remind us of this. PBS has been there when we need them and hopefully always will be. Do they lean a little to the left? Probably. But they like all of us are not perfect either.

How would you measure "objective" and "non-partisan?"

By whether they agree with you?

How about this? Which organizations inform their patrons the best. Which listeners/viewers are the most accurately informed. By definition, a partisan slant distorts the truth.

The U of Maryland found that PBS and NPR patrons were, by far, the most informed news consumers. Fox was the least.

Just because the facts are inconvenient to your "head in the sand" philosophy, it doesn't mean they have an agenda. It means that you do when you rail against this phony bias issue.

There is no news organization that isn't biased, FOX leans to the right and the rest to the left, however PBS is not as bad as some of the others.

I don't know...but unlike the other news media... PBS is funded entirely by public donation.

Maybe what you are seeing is a lack of conservative influence$, which would make it appear left-partisan from what you are used to seeing on FOX...

PBS is the closest to non partisan as you can get.sometimes its tough because the participants get tricky with words for their POV and it makes it sound as if tey changed their minds to get undecided people on their side.its an organization which you can count on.they do what is best for all and plot actual, tangible, plans.you can always see their words in action!
