Last year I had a a dughter, however she was stillborn. We named her Lilly May. I am pregnant again and we were joyed to find out we are expecting twins. We just learned that the sexes of the babies are a boy and a girl. We were thinking Calla Grace for the girl after the Calla Lilly, which would be after her sister

First and foremost, I am so sorry about your stillbirth. I cannot imagine the grief you have had to work through. AND congratulations on your twins!!
I've had several thoughts about the name and all of them lead me against the idea.
I'm not nuts about the name Calla.
Why would you name this child after another child that you lost?
If you are going to pay this tribute to the child you lost by naming her sister after her, why wouldn't you do the same somehow with her brother?
I don't agree with siblings having inter-connected names as they all have completely separate identities.
And, as much as you grieve for the first child that you lost, this little girl (your new baby) never knew her...
I think that there are more fitting tributes to Lilly May that you and your husband can pay to her. There is no doubt to anyone (including baby Lilly) that you will always love her and never forget her.

I love it! Beautiful and sweet! I have always liked the name, and I have wanted to name a daughter Calla Lily for some time now. It's a great way to honor her sister, and it puts more meaning into the name.

I'm sorry i think its awful! It just sounds and looks weird!

I like the idea behind it but why not go with Grace Calla or even Grace Lilly.

Congrats with the twins tho and i hope it all goes well for you.

I think that it is pretty and the meaning is nice. I would probably call her Grace because I like that name better than Calla, which seems a little odd by itself.

Just a thought. It might look prettier spelled with a K. You don't want to always be reminded of your tragedy when you look at the new baby God has blessed you with.
