It doesn't surprise me. Once again the Yahoo Answers Team has proven themselves to be a group of brain dead morons who can't figure out the instructions to a roll of toilet paper. The Community guidelines are a joke just like any system of laws that are either sporadically enforced or not enforced at all. The whole reporting system should be done away with anyway. The worst thing that can happen is that after so many violations your account gets deleted. This isn't a problem as the offensive users create new ones and continue on.

Their violation system is all screwy. I posted a question "Does anything help, even a smile?" and got a violation for it. I followed the link in the email to inquire about which of their terms were violated and they sent me some generic message saying that it violated TOS without telling me how.
Your best bet is just to come to the conclusion that yahoo, like all major companies, hires a bunch of retarded lab monkeys to run their services. As long as there are other retarded monkeys using their service, they don't care about you even the slightest bit. Just be glad you're not a retarded monkey. That's all you can do.
