the modern Lib wants to give illegals drivers licenses as the first step to citizenship and voting for Libs in the future. That was a KEY ISSUE in the Ohio election on Dec 11th, 2007 between Robin Weirauch the DEM who was FOR this and Bob Latta, the common sense Republican who was AGAINST it. The result of the vote: LATTA WON 57 % to 43 %. Tells me what the voters think.

They love it. They'll probably say something like "hey now, we were immigrants to this country too once. whose to say who can and can't come into America"
Remember that these immigrants will eventually be supporters of the liberals' favourite party. If these immigrants didn't support the liberal parties, the libs wouldn't care for them that much.

i think the laws in place should be enforced . as it is now , when an illegal gets off the plane or jumps a fence and are caught , the ens gives then a time to show up in court . not many do . they must be detained until the hearing ,then deported . as they are a form of very cheap labor , corporate america wants bush to look the other way , which he has . its the social costs of these illegals which burden us middle class taxpayers .

Depends on who their base of voters is. If they live in Florida or California, they are all for it.

If they work to earn for themselves, just like everyone else, there is nothing wrong with that.
