The question was what will you do in your first year as president? His response was to first call together the joint chiefs and have them formulate a responsible plan that ends the war and begins the diplomacy necessary to bring stability to the region. Secondly, he would call in the attorney general and have him review every executive order made by Bush and examine them for constitutionality and reverse those that are not. What do you think about these two things?

Funny, I'm watching the debates and as soon as he listed the 3 things he said he'd do I remarked out loud that he had the best answer.

"The tough question has yet to be asked of him....what do you do if diplomacy fails?"

If you're a good enough diplomat, diplomacy never fails.

He's sounding reasonable. We need someone in office who is willing to at least give diplomacy a try. Let's face it. Since Bush has been in office, this country has taken a turn for the worse. We need to try to fix what he has broke.

If he believes that back peddling through paperwork will get him any were then I would be astounded.

As far as forming a responsible plan, Obama said he would even call in Hilary and get her thoughts also.

Obama sounds like he is going to be asking everybody to be doing his job because he knows that he has no clue!

Obama should not be president. At least when Bush was in office he didn't chase Clinton down to find fault with him. He let it go. Now the democrats carry grudges? That is not a good quality in a president.

I think that, were he elected, he'd be within his rights to do that, as long as he got Congress to go along with him.
