I'm a little big perturbed that I can't answer this question, and I'm 27 years old. Maybe you can?!
This is a real math problem so don't say that the bus has no legs.
There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats
For every big cat there are 7 little cats
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
I have worked out a fairly long math equation and still can't come up with the right answer. Then, I tried to be more simple about it & say that there are 7 girls ON a bus, and the question wants to know how many legs are IN the bus, but that's not right either. It doesn't say anything about any amputees, so I have no clue!!! Hahahaha. How embarrassing.

Let's start big: there are 56 cats in each backpack. (7 cats per big cat times 7 big cats plus 7 big cats).
There are 7 backpacks per girl. That's 392 cats. (Seven backpacks times 56 cats).
There are 7 girls with the backpacks. That's 2744 cats. (Seven girls times 392 cats).
There are 10976 cat legs. (2744 cats times 4 legs each).
There are 14 human legs. (7 girls times 2 legs each).
There are 10990 living legs. (That's 10976 cat legs and 14 human legs).
HOWEVER, this doesn't take into account the legs holding the bus seats up.

Ok, here goes:
7 girls X 2 legs/girl = 14 legs
7girls X 7 backpacks = 49 backpacks
49 X 7 = 343 big cats X 4 = 1372 big cat legs
343 X 7 = 2401 small cats X 4 = 9604 small cat legs
so: 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10990 legs
Assuming no driver and with that many cats on the
bus, not much room either.

7 girls: 14 legs
there are 49 cats in one bag and each cat has 4 legs so thats 196 legs in a bag
196 times 7 girls is 1372
1372 times 196 cuz theres 7 kittens is 268912
268912+the number of legs of all the girls(14)=268926
if ur counting the 4 wheels of the bus and the 2 legs of the bus driver its 268932
that took a while to work out hope im rite it kinda seems like to many legs
k hope i gave u the ans. ur looking 4

7 kids x 7 bags = 49 bags
49 bags x 7 big cats each = 343 big cats
343 big cats x 4 legs each = 1372 big cat legs
343 big cats x 7 kittens = 2401 kittens
2401 kittens x 4 legs = 9604 kitten legs
7 kids x 2 legs = 14 kids legs
1372 big cat legs + 9604 kitten legs + 14 kids legs = 10990 legs.
There is a driver too so there would be 10992 legs.
Answer
There are only 16 legs!
The animals aren't on the bus!
