Obviously you are quite young, unlike some of the people answering this question!!,
First of all, hello..
I agree with you 100%, when you meet new people, you want to get friends with them, even if they have a bad background, a good one even, you always try and look for the best in people,
BUT when they turn on you, you feel upset like you do now - you feel like you've been betrayed and you're confused, thats why you need our help..
If they were your '' friends '' they wouldn't be doing this, and this is what splits the '' friends '' and the '' back-stabbers ''.
For you, I think you should tell them directly if you have a problem, tell me it, if they ignore you, and gets '' serious '' somehow, tell someone, a parents, an actual FRIEND.
I hope this all works out sweety.

Well, it doesn't but hell, ill say something anyway.
Everyone is entitled to their secrets. It's your choice to be open and honest but, nobody else has to. I'm honest myself and i can't understand why people lie. But see, its all in your mind. You don't keep secrets, so you feel bad when others do. Relax. Its no big deal. Now you know what kind of people you're dealing with.

It depends on what the secret is. Everyone has secrets and anyone that says they don't is not being honest. Not telling someone a secret does not necessarily equal dishonestly. Lying or omitting the truth does.

I am honest with all my friends and I would hope they feel safe enough with me that they can share things with me. If I knew one of them was keeping something from me it would hurt me because I have done nothing to make them feel that they couldnt share things with me. Just talk to them and tell them that they can come to you with there problems and that their secrets are safe with you and maybe they will get the hint. good luck

sometimes it does hurt, but it depends what kind of secret they want to keep from me. for example if it is something personal that maybe they are embarassed to share then I can understand why they would keep it from me. now if it is just something that I should know like if they have a party and don't want to include me or if it is something that is hurtful to me and I need to know then I would be upset.

It depends on what the secret is about and how close you are to the person. I can understand how that could be rather upsetting. I'm sorry.

Joy, I am assuming you are really young. As you get older you will come to realize the less people tell you, the better off you are.

It depends on the what they keep secerts about. I mean if they keep something to protect me I would let them try to make me understand why they kept it.

nope! What's the point in tellin your secrets? None of my friends know any of mine...it's hard to tell who's real and who's fake so I can see why people don't tell secrets!

i agree with you. especially when they are realllly really close friends. they should let us know things. and be honest with us. because thats how you are with them. so you deserve for them to be completely honest.
