me and my boyfriend have been together for 4 1/2 months, and about two weeks ago we started having sex, and before him i never had an orgasm before, and then he gave me multiple orgasms, but then last week i started my period and ever since i've been off of my period, i can NOT have an orgasm, it hardly even feels good anymore. and i'm scared that there's something wrong with me. and we've had sex a lot and given me an orgasm pretty much every time, but lately when we've had sex, i can't have an orgasm and i'll be really close and then the feeling goes away. what's wrong with me? :( somebody suggested i was pregnant but we've used condoms all except one time, and i'm on birth control. i don't want this to ruin us HELP ME! whats wrong with me? :(

It may just be your hormone levels at this time of your cycle. Women frequently have better sex around the time they ovulate. Just keep at it. ;)

This is normal.

The first time or so - you were so high on excitement it helped push you over.

But the female sexual response often has a plateau that just seems to cause you to sit there. This is very normal and well documented. (Look up "Masters and Johnson" or "Kinsey" - researchers)

Often reducing the intensity, switching positions, having your BF change his focus to a different part of your body for a while helps.

Above all - sex is play. It comes from the part of your mind/emotions associated with play. When having sex, be cheerful and open. Focus on him and surprisingly your own orgasm will sneak up on you because you are NOT paying attention to it.

sounds to me like you are trying too hard.

Imagine what it felt like last time- the mind is a powerful thing, I can have one without even being touched now.

You just learned how to climax so it will take you some time to truly understand what gets YOU going. You have a long time so have fun trying to figure yourself out.

To heck with the guys...they are just about a given- they usually climax without even a thought...It's got to be all about you for a bit- then once you know what makes yo truly tick you can unleash yourself on him- WOW, how empowering that is!

Hi,
Most women don't orgasm through vaginal intercourse, simply because THE organ for female sexual pleasure is the clitoris, and it's not that close to the vagina. There are some positions that can increase your chance to orgasm through intercourse, or through being able to simultaneously have intercourse and stimulate your clitoris or have your partner stimulate it for you.

it is more of a psychological problem. You are scared from the deepest of your heart and mind as you said you became pregnant, and this thought is scaring you and that feeling is preventing you from enjoying the orgasm...

Hi there,
it ultimately depends upon your emotional, hormonal and relaxation levels.
and the females have it as "slow starters...slow pick ups...and slow late climax..."...thats the nature's rule...
this again can vary a lot...from individual to indidual....okay ?
relax and have a nice time...

best wishes...
