Excluding online degrees, do employers just care that you have a bachelors degree or do they care what school it came from?

For 99% of jobs they just care that you have a degree. But really even the degree is just paperwork. The employer really cares about experiance and whether or not you can do the job on your own without asking everyone for help.

It depends on the job and the person doing the hiring. Most jobs don't care about your grades either unless. But right when you get out of school and you have no experience a big name school and or a high GPA help you get noticed. After that 1st job no one cares.

It depends on the employer. If you are trying to get into a national Lab or the government, sometimes they really care.

But if the school is accredited and has a decent reputation, then its normally Ok with employers.

It can help get your foot in the door sometimes. I've been on a few interviews that began with compliments on my education, even though it became obvious as the conversation went on that my other qualifications weren't quite what they were looking for. But they didn't call me back or hire me, so you have to be able to back up the degree with experience.

It does depend on the job. If you want a high-paying prestigious job, then yes, your college will matter--but only to a certain extent. The top 20 colleges are all pretty much the same. If you go to a community college, it will definitely matter.

Some do. The more prestigious firms only recruit at the top schools. If you want to go into investment banking or consulting, it makes a big difference.

Depending on what you got your Bachelors in, undergrad work might be important, internships, etc..,

As long as you know what your talking about, and they know that you know what you're doing, it should be fine.
