Ok,,, i tried this once, but it registered under gay and lesbian, and i am not, so ok... also i wanted to add that i would be living there for a year, and i heard that i might be harassed because i am blonde, and young. is this true?

I am blond and have fair skin as you have. And all the women in my family are like this. None of us are harassed.
Please don't listen to people who don't know anything about Turkey.
We are nice beautiful, self confident, we work, we drink, we study, we go out, we have fun, we study like any country in Europe.
We are like any European country.
Please don't think of us like we are a country from another planet.

We are treated just fine and you will be amazed to see the number of blonds when you come here. We are not of Arabic race, dear :).

They are very conservative (you will be expected to cover up) and their plumbing is not good. Friends of mine visited the country.
