For some strange reason, the women in my family never do good with producing milk... and sure enough, It happened to me too. I asked my mother what she raised me and my brother on and she told me Enfamil Lipil with iron.

My little girl is healthy and happy, so i would suggest that.

it somewhat is an excellent formula that may no longer basically has the same nutritional value by using fact the style call formula, in spite of the undeniable fact that it somewhat is a pair of million/2 the value. a pal used it along with her baby and the only situation that she had grew to become into that Ella might throw up each and every so often, yet we found out that she grew to become into lactose illiberal, so we switched her to the lactose loose variety and he or she is now an exceedingly healthful (22 lbs) 10 month previous. She has developed commonly, is solid on course so a techniques as that is going and the pediatrician counseled this manner for Ella.

I used Similac and Enfamil. I tried Nestle Good Start and my soons stool was green from that. So, I never used it again.
Alot of people say breast milk is best and that is not true in all cases. Sometimes (or mothers) have higher levels of mercury in their milk which isn't good for the baby. So, formula is just as good.
My son has not suffered from formula on all the charts he is either on the normal or above normal for his age. And he is a content little toddler now!

My pediatrician told me that they are like coke vs pepsi, its just a preference unless you baby needs something in particular (like soy)

I would recommend that you don't buy anything at first.. your OB and your pediatrician should both have samples for you to try out and you should get samples from the hospital from similac and enfamil. You can also sign up on their websites for free samples and formula checks by mail.

My daughter used Enfamil and after her not taking to the bottle as we liked we switched to Similac.. she loved it and has been on it since. Thats when our doc told us it was just preference of the baby.

I would say it depends on what your particular baby tolerates ....

the best one for my son was Walmarts Generic Brand called Parent Choice "Sensitive for fussy and gassy babies" .

We started him on Similac Advance with Iron but it made him too gassy .... it acted like a laxative .....

we have him on Similacs "Sensitive for fussy and gassy babies " but I believe he did better on the Parents Choice

I started with Similac Advance for both my girls. For my oldest i had to change it because she was so fussy so i went to Nestly Good Start. For my second i stayed with it.
I also breast fed at the same time. Ask your doctor what he recomends if you do not find something that agrees with your baby. Babies can be really picky.

None of them are best. They are all essentially the same.

Breastmilk is healthiest and easiest on your baby's system. It also contains antibodies to help keep baby healthy, something no formula contains.

Ask your doctor or midwife. Different brands have different properties that may or may not be right for your child.
