My husband had a vasectomy done about 4 years ago before we were married. He recently had a reveral vasectomy done because we both want children together. Does anyone know how long it might take.

We want a baby so bad and I am scared it will never happen.

Any advice? Is there a way to make his sperm healthier?

Ok some of this is going to sound gross but I have read almost every infertility book out there and here are some basic things to make sure your husband does/does not do.

First off:
No Alcohol
No Caffeine
No Tight Underwear
Keep Baby Making Area Cool-heat kills sperm. Truck drivers, people around furnaces or who work in hot plants may have toruble with sperm-making. There is a list of jobs.
No Hot Tubs
No Hot Baths (take showers instead)

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year and my doctor told me that my husband has the highest sperm count that he has ever seen. I have had him on prenatal vitamins two months before we officially started TTC. He does have caffeine and I can't get him to quit, but since his count is so high I don't worry about it as much.

Hope this helps!!! Baby Dust!!!!!

Chances of success are pretty slim. There is not much you can do. Most of the suggestions given so far are urban legend.
