Yes, but not much. Once the top of the trap in the bowl no longer has a water seal, the level will stay there. If it is going down more than 1", you probably have a leak in the bowl. Drains need air to operate properly. This air is supplied by the vent. If it is the vent, you should also see bubbles when flushing.

In a word, yes, it is possible if vent lines are not installed of are plugged.
If the water level in the bowl drops slowly and is consistent, you may have a cracked commode throat, which naturally drains into the sewer. Just a thought

Yes, if there is enough flow to create a draw. I would think that a sink trap would be sucked out first though.
