HEY!
Okay, most of these people on here are wrong!
Just because you are only 16 does not mean that you cant find a good decent job?
It just might be harder!
If I were you I would first chose a place where you are interested in?
For example, if you are an animal lover than you might want to go to some veternarian places or pet stores! Working at a vet would be a good choice because yeah you might start off at minimum wage, but you would also have room for advancement, and once you get out of high school you could go to vet school and get paid even more!
I dont know if you have an "in and out burger" around you, and I know you said that you dont like Mcdonalds, but this place is SO much better! They start off paying like 10.00 an hour!!!
I also know that Costco starts off really high too! You may not want to be a cashier or whatever, BUT believe me it will give you good work skills, and help you land a better job when you are out of high school or college!
The other thing that I could think of is working as a secretary somewhere...like a dental office! Ive had friends to that and get paid pretty well, and they will usually work with your hours...depending on the place!
The last option that I can think of is doing a paper route! Since you are 16 and you can probably drive it would like it a lot better! It also depends on where you live, but Ive seen people get paid almost 2000 dollars per month, and its only about 2 hours every morning!
Call your local newspaper!
okay I wanted to add one more thing!!!!
Have you heard of the website "Whateverlife.com"? Well, it was made from scratch from a 17 year old! She is the owner CEO of this business and makes over 1 millions dollars a year!!!
You should look it up!!! There is an article about her on yahoo I believe...I just read it, and it was really inspirational!
I just wanted to add that because I saw someone else on here say that you cant start off as a CEO of a company!!!

With work...comes experience. With experience comes higher pay. Sorry, but you will have to start at the bottom and work your way up. No one starts out as the CEO of their own company without working to get there first. If there is one field of work you want to get into, you might look into job options in that area. But you sure won't be the head of the department. Even famous actors started out running coffee, so expect to work to get where you want to be.

You have no skills, you aren't going to land a good job. You can work fast food or retail unless you want to work hard at something like cleaning houses or yard work.
